As part of the City of Social Circle’s ongoing effort to promote economic growth and support small business development, the City has purchased three buildings in the downtown district. This initiative is aimed at reducing the burden of renovation costs for prospective business owners and creating an inviting environment for new commercial opportunities. To date, all three buildings have been tested for lead, asbestos, and mold, ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards. The City is in the process of having roofing and drainage improvements assessed.
