Street Repaving & Drainage Improvement Projects

The City of Social Circle is continuing its commitment to improving roads and infrastructure for residents, businesses, and visitors. Several street resurfacing and drainage projects are currently in progress or in planning:

Recently Completed Work

• A portion of South Cherokee Road, East Hightower Trail, and West Hightower Trail have been successfully repaved, improving drivability and road safety. 

Drainage Improvement Projects

• Bids have been sent out for drainage upgrades on Holly Street and Sweetgum Street, aiming to reduce flooding and improve water flow during heavy rains.

• A bid for Clark Street drainage improvements and repaving is being prepared and will be released in the near future.
