How do I pay my ticket?

You can pay your ticket at City Hall's drive-thru window (side driveway) or in person from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. To pay online, you will be directed to an online portal. You can also pay via an IVR phone number. Cash, money orders, and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and Discover, are accepted. Personal checks are NOT acceptable. The full fine amount must be paid.

What do we do?

The Municipal Court for the City of Social Circle hears and adjudicates misdemeanor criminal and traffic offenses, such as speeding tickets, that occur within the Social Circle city limits.

When and where do we meet?

The Municipal Court for the City of Social Circle is held on the third Wednesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the City Community Room, 138 E. Hightower Trail (located behind the police department).

COURT RULES

To maintain security, integrity and decorum in the Courtroom, certain rules must be followed:

*All cell phones and devices must be turned off or set on silent.

Except for attorneys or Court personnel, the following items are prohibited while Court is in session:

Laptops
iPads
Newspapers
Magazines
books

The following items of dress are inappropriate for Court and are prohibited from being worn by anyone entering the Courtroom while Court is in session:

Ripped or torn jeans
Baggy pants that fall below the waist
Shorts
Tank tops
Halters or bare midriff tops
Muscle shirts
Hair curlers
Hair bonnets
Hats
Bare feet
Men may not wear open-toed shoes
Sunglasses
Clothing with emblems that condone illegal or inappropriate activity
Clothing depicting violence, sexual acts, profanity or illegal drugs
