PUBLIC NOTICE - Jones Petroleum Annexation Application Withdrawal 

Jones Petroleum has withdrawn its request to annex into the City of Social Circle. This withdrawal also includes all other requests associated with this application including rezone, future land use map amendment, variance, and permit for special use.  

The Social Circle City Council will vote to formally accept the withdrawal during its regular meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Community Room located at 138 E. Hightower Trail, Social Circle, GA 30025. 

As a result, there will be NO PUBLIC HEARING for this application.
