The Down Department Authority of Social Circle is applying for funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Cleanup Grant to address contamination at the historic Social Circle Cotton Mill Site located in the Historic District.

The Downtown Development Authority will hold a Public Meeting to present the proposed cleanup plan, review the draft ABCA, discuss key components of the EPA Cleanup Grant application, provide site history and environmental context, and receive community feedback:
